YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Implement, maintain, and upgrade our Odoo ERP system, integrating modules and applications to streamline business processes. Specialize in customizing Odoo's invoicing and accounting features, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and organizational standards. You continuously optimize and enhance existing software utilizing modern methods and architecture.
- Integrate our Odoo system into the existing infrastructure with the help of microservices in PHP.
- Collaborate across departments to ensure seamless Odoo functionality organization-wide.
- Offer support and training to users, focusing on Odoo's financial functionalities, updates, and best practices.
You independently and agilely implement innovative and exciting ideas together with your interdisciplinary team, in coordination with the Product Owner. You make decisions collectively with the team, based on your collective knowledge. Manage CI/CD pipelines, demonstrating proficiency in GitHub Actions. Utilize Datadog for comprehensive system monitoring and performance analysis.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- You have completed training in software development, a degree in computer science/informatics, a comparable education, or equivalent professional experience.
- You possess practical experience in software development and have excellent knowledge of PHP and Python.
- You have either initial or deeper experience with microservices and asynchronous programming.
Experience in managing and customizing Odoo ERP systems, with a strong emphasis on financial modules like invoicing and accounting would be desirable. In-depth knowledge of Python, especially as it pertains to automating and customizing financial processes in Odoo. API design and initial experience with DevOps are not unfamiliar to you. Familiarity with system monitoring tools, especially Datadog. Initial to solid experience in e-commerce would be desirable. In addition to your technical expertise, you demonstrate a high level of customer and team orientation, have a keen eye for the essentials, place a high value on transparency, and communicate openly and directly. Desirable: Experience with GitHub Actions, Kubernetes, Docker, PostgreSQL, AWS, and Terraform. Good German and English language skills.
